Desolenator BV is seeking a motivated and passionate Sustainability Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for university-level students pursuing Business for Sustainability courses to gain practical experience in the field while contributing to our impactful mission.
Responsibilities:
Assist in refining Desolenator's Impact Strategy and developing an Impact Management Plan.
Collaborate with various stakeholders within the company to assess current sustainability practices and identify areas for improvement.
Define actionable steps and create a roadmap for the implementation of the impact management plan.
Develop and implement sustainable practices to help Desolenator achieve its targets outlined in the impact management plan.
Conduct research and analysis to support sustainability initiatives and decision-making processes.
Support other sustainability-related projects and initiatives as needed.
What we expect from you:
Enrolled in a university-level program, preferably Business for Sustainability or related field.
Intimate familiarity with the UN Sustainability targets, OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises, and OECD Due Diligence guidance.
Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
Ability to create and achieve against well-structured plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with sustainability tools and frameworks is a plus.
Duration: 4-6 months; part-time or full-time, with the possibility of combining with a Master's thesis research project.
