PV-T Development Engineer

We are looking for the support of a Product Developer for our team, performing experimental research to optimise energy harvesting from a PVT panel (both thermal and electric). This will lead to an optimised design and energy efficiency of our photovoltaic thermal hybrid solar collectors.

Role type   : Full-time
Location    : Remote and The Netherlands 
Salary         : tbc
Start Date : November 2018 – April 2019 (6 months)

Test Technician – Fixed Term:

We are looking for the support of a Test Technician for our team, to test existing Desolenator products for optimization and improvement purposes. Product tests include 1) durability tests (corrosion of materials), 2) product water quality tests, and 3) system control tests to comprehend and improve the control mechanism. In this role you will also perform calibration tests under real-world conditions in locations where the global water crisis is a reality.

Role type: Full-time – initially be fixed to 1 year.
Location : We foresee that you would be based at our workshop in Zuid Limburg (Netherlands) but you may at times have the opportunity to test in world conditions at our projects in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Test Technician – Internship:

We are looking for a ‘field test technician” to join our passionate team testing our units during field trials in Kenya in early 2019. After training in the UK, these initial 3 months will be based full-time at our trial site in Lake Turkana, Kenya.

Role type: internship (with the potential to join full time or on a project basis)
Location: initial 3 months will be based full-time in Lake Turkana, Kenya (accommodation & flights provided)
Salary: tbc
Start date: Training December in UK, mid Feb – April 2019 (initially). You will be required to travel to Kenya by mid February 2019.
